This animated showreel is a compilation of my motion design projects created specifically for social media. It showcases a variety of animations, each crafted to highlight my ability to create visually engaging content tailored for digital platforms. This project was created for a client and features an engaging “chalk on chalkboard” aesthetic, evoking the look and feel of traditional whiteboard-style animations. Every element, from the hand-drawn illustrations to the fluid motion design, was designed to resemble a classic chalkboard sketching process. This approach gives the animation a friendly, approachable, and educational vibe, perfect for conveying information in a creative and visually captivating way. This animation showcases my experiment in blending 2D and 3D elements to create a visually striking 2.5D piece. By combining Adobe Illustrator for detailed vector assets, Cinema 4D for 3D modeling, and Adobe After Effects for seamless compositing and animation, I achieved a dynamic interplay between flat design and dimensional depth. This project highlights my ability to merge traditional and modern techniques, creating a unique visual experience that bridges the gap between 2D and 3D animation styles (Cinema 4D and After Effects)

This project features my Gabbytoon logo brought to life in 3D, enhanced with 2D details to add a playful and dynamic touch. The core of the design was created in Cinema 4D, giving the logo a dimensional and polished look. I then added hand-drawn whiteboard-style lines to integrate a creative and organic 2D element. Adobe Illustrator was used for initial design assets, while Adobe After Effects brought everything together with smooth animation and compositing. Line animation for Client. This project is a full-length animated music video created for British singer Mychelle. The animation style is based on line art, which Mychelle selected as the central visual theme to complement her song’s mood and storytelling. Each frame was carefully crafted to align with the rhythm and emotion of the music, creating a seamless connection between the visuals and the lyrics. The simplicity and elegance of the line animation enhance the song’s intimate and artistic feel, making it a unique visual experience that reflects Mychelle’s style and vision. Project for Client. This project was created during the COVID-19 pandemic as an educational video commissioned by the California Governor’s office to inform people about the importance of vaccinations. My role focused solely on animation, bringing their vision to life using Adobe After Effects for dynamic motion design and Premiere Pro for seamless video editing. Working with assets provided by the client, I ensured the animation effectively conveyed the message with clarity and engagement. Custom Project (concept, illustrations, animation) The “Under the Sea” project was a personal exploration where I aimed to create something gentle and calming while experimenting with water and underwater animation techniques. This piece focuses on the fluidity of underwater movements and the serene beauty of aquatic environments. The animation captures the delicate flow of water and the interaction of light and shadows beneath the surface, showcasing my ability to convey subtlety and depth in motion design.
